Hi, we just got first prototypes of a new board with LPC2468 (beside an Actel Flash FPGA, SDRAM and MicroSD slot). Without DBGEN, the LPC responds to an UrJTAG "detect" with a proper response that I expected for Boundary Scan mode: IR length: 3 Chain length: 1 Device Id: 01000000000111110000000000101011 (0x00000000401F002B) Manufacturer: Philips Semi. (Signetics) But with DBGEN, U...

Hi all!. I think that my chip has corrupted bootloader. I programmed it several times, but now it only can be programmed via JTAG, Philips flash utility says: "cannot communicate with test board". Is any way to upgrade or fix bootloader? I found on net bootloader hex file for 2104, but no for LPC2103. Thanks in advance. Mariusz

This is a follow up to a message on DMA transfers on the LPC2148 I wrote last month. Someone suggested trying the Keil example for the usb audio. As this was tailored for the Keil eval board, I bought the board and JTAG emulator to try their example. First of all Keil is loaded with bugs. It took me a day to get any example to build and run on their evaluation board, but eventually I go...

Hello friends, I'm with the same problem. After uploading of a test software using H-JTAG, parallel j-tag (from Olimex) and LPC-E2294, the microcontroller seems to be damaged. When in the internal flash operation (boot0 and boot1 selected) the messages displayed is "can't halt target and make it enter DEBUG state". Curiously, when I change to 32-bit external memory (changing boot0 and boot 1...

Hello, colleagues! I would like to ask you helping me! I need write a simple program, which periodically sent Ethernet frames with 100 bytes information. Physical interface is KS8721BL. Chip is LPC2468. I've tried explore a sample from IAR 5.50, but it isn't work at all. It seems that KS8721BL can't be initialized. Now my JTAG go mad - doesn't work properly. I would be glad if you da...

Hi all, I was working with my custom board which I designed and recently I could write a simple firmware to turn off/on some LEDs, I wanted to test what would happen if we program device with even values for CCLKSEL that I saw it is not working any longer but when I changed the value to odd one and tried to download the code to the chip I couldn't. I am working with H-JTAG V0.4.3 and it gives a...

I'm using an LPC2138 and I've figure out how to enable code read protection by writing 0x87654321 to 0x01FC. Is there any way to load new firmware, do a full chip erase, or disable this feature now? Since the JTAG debugger and relevant ISP commands are now not available, I'm thinking that having a bit of code that uses IAP calls to read the sector, substitute a new value, then re-write...

I have read several threads where new ARM programmers like myself have encountered a problem where their code (custom board) only runs when using the debugger. I have yet to find my problem. I have programmed two other ARM boards using the LPC2101 chip with problems. This board using the LPC2131 is somehow different. The JTAG interface has pulldown and pullup resistors. The emulator sele...

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the following intermittent LPC2129 power-up problem: Power is applied; V18, V3, V18A and V3A become stable within 600us, the clock stabilises 1ms later. After a further 250ms nRESET is taken high, but the code doesn't appear to run. Once in this state I can stop execution using a JTAG debugger and examine the PC & other register contents. Somet...

Hello, During configuration of Ethernet, JTAG losing communication with the target. In LPC17xx manual there is a remark as follow Remark: when initializing the Ethernet block, it is important to first configure the PHY and insure that reference clocks (ENET_REF_CLK signal in RMII mode, or both ENET_RX_CLK and ENET_TX_CLK signals in MII mode) are present at the external pins and conne...

I've got a LiIon barrery design with an LPC2132, and when I put it into power down the supply current stays up around 700uA. That seems way too high. I am running it on 3.3V and I have switched basically all of the pins to Input so that non are driving pull up/dn resistors during powerdown. I even shut off the JTAG and UART so there was no current being put out to anywhere else. I ...
