We ran into a similar problem on the LPC2294 (No JTAG function) and it turned out that we were inadvertently causing the micro to enter an undocumented test mode which disabled the JTAG due to a failed CAN Transceiver. In our case on the LPC2294 it was caused by holding TD1 (pin22) low at reset. Below is what we got from NXP for the LPC2294 As far as other "magic pins", here is a list...

Hi, I am designing the pcb for a wireless sesor network using cypress IC. I am using LPC2294 controller for the same. I have made the schematic and done the component placement in pcb designing. But during the routing I am facing the problem as the pins in the LPC2294 controller are close. I am using the protell99SE for pcb designing. The design rules I choose as the 10mil track width...

Hello together, i want to save some parameters on the EEPROM (AT25080). This EEPROM is on the Basic Board of LPC2294. It controlled by SPI. The problem is that i don't receive any data from this memory. LPC2294 is working as a master. I can measure the clk, MOSI (Master out, Slave in), an chip select but there is nothing on MISO (Master in, Slave out). In the data register S0SPDR is always the va...

Hi, I'd like to be sure that the PCLK on a LPC2292/LPC2294 can go up to 60 MHz. I expect this to be the case from my experience so far with the LPC2148, however the LPC2292/LPC2294 user manual is making me doubt that. Can anyone clarify the following quote from the user manual: "The VPB Divider serves two purposes. The first is to provides peripherals with desired pclk via VPB bus so tha...
