Hello all, I\'ve spent several days now stuggling with the my PIC16F876 setup and the Wisp628 programmer. I managed to program the device once (code shown bellow) but after that found it impossible to connect again to the target (either to identify, clear, read or write). I assume that if I power the Wisp628 with 5V via the 3-pin header I should be able to program a PIC in a circuit running on 3V....

I assume that if I power the Wisp628 with 5V via the 3-pin header I should be able to program a PIC in a circuit running on 3V. Correct? Is there a way I can isolate a 3V-only device (it won't tolerate 5V) from the 5V signals coming from the Wisp? Mike

Hello, I do not manage anymore to "go" or erase one of my 12F675 since I have configured the gp0 pin as an output. The chip still works, but there is no way to erase it, or read its content, ... I'm using a wisp628 (which work with another 12F675).
