Does anyone understand exactly what the LPC-23XX Address Mirror bit 'M', in EMC Control Register (EMCControl) does?? LPC-23XX User Manual Rev.03, Chapter 5 table 60 says that when 'M' = 1 (after reset) "chip select 1 is mirrored to the chip select 0 memory area". Does this mean that accesses to CS0 address space activate CS1, and not CS0? That seems to me to suggest that there would be no CS0 ac...

There was a question in Keil forum about the max SPI speed that could be achieved using SSP in LPC1788 and a core clock of 120Mhz and based on the user manual the max speed for the SSP peripheral is core_clock/2 which gives 60MHz. Assuming that the PCB is designed to work fine with this speed, is this achievable from the MCU side? Is it possible for the output stage of the LPC to switc...

I have a problem with a LPC2468 board. I use Yargato on Eclipse and configured everything as in the description. I changed an example for LPC series to fit the LPC2468. When I start the GDB, the segger console says: Reading all registers Read 4 bytes @ address 0x00000000 (Data = 0xE59FF018) Target endianess set to "little e...

I have a project that requires two 12-bit ADCs with parallel output and a sample rate of ~20-30 Msps. The micro will be processing the data into a bit stream, formatting that into a data packet and sending it out via a canned wifi solution. I could use an FPGA instead of a micro but it would add a lot of cost and time to the project. I could just try it with an LPC1769, 120MHz, FIQ, for exa...

Hello, I wish to migrate my legacy designs from 8051 to LPC 1768. I am not clear from the datasheet of LPC1768 what total current can I sink on port pins individually and collectively. Currently I can drive optocouplers like PC817 etc directly with 8051 port sinking more than 5 ma each pin. Shall I need to interface through some buffers like 74ACT245 or such to meet that requirement of current? R...

Hi Everybody, I have Olimex LPC-2478-STK board with 64MB SRAM. Using Uboot I'd like to run my whole application in the SDRAM. To achieve the goal, I did the following: 1. I modified my linker script- all sections go to the SDRAM, which is defined as: MEMORY { sdram (rwx) : org = 0xA0000000, len = 64M } 2. I remaped the program to external memory: MEMMAP = MEMMAP_MAP...
