Hello! I have a project that used to be compiled via IDE. As I didn't like the IDE much, I made a 'make' script to compile it. I had to use extended syntax so it will run on NT-XP, not Win98 and the like. Host OS: Windows XP Target: PIC18F452 CPU Language: C Compiler: HI-TECH C Compiler IDE: MPLAB IDE Target is an embedded CPU, so I compile code on host machine then write it to ...

I need to use the sdcc compiler in an IDE. I have about 16K of ASM51 code that I need to compile with sdcc so that I can use the source in the debug pane. The IDE only shows dissambly (with label numbers) unless you use C. So I fugured I'd create a C "shell" and import my asm51 file Where can I go to learn how to embed the asm? The IDE has a C example which compiles with sdcc. I tried 2 h...

Anyone know of any place where I can buy these? I have a 31x2 row of jumpers on a pcb for signals coming from and out to the outside world. They are 100mil spacing and would plug in well with the sort of cables used in IDE harddrives (female on both ends). But I need 62 (31x2) or 64(32x2) pin ide like cables (IDC i think they are called). Does anyone know where I can buy these online? ...

Hi, I have been asked to look at a legacy Tornado 1 system which boots from a DiskOnChip to see if this can be changed to boot from a compact flash disk. The compact flash is on the primary channel of the *second* IDE controller. I dont understand the boot line: "#define DEFAULT_BOOT_LINE "ide=0,0(0,0)host: ..........." Where is this documented? Hi, I'm running an approval (unregistered) copy of the ImageCraft ICC12 IDE, and finding that I can't download the S19 files that it generates. The HCS12 target rejects everything from the second line of the file onwards. S19 files from another IDE load without problems, and I can't see anything superficially wrong with the files, the record structure looks fine and essentially the same ...

I'm contemplating replacing an old ATA hard disc with a CompactFlash card in an adaptor. I've been reading the CF 2 specification, which suggests that /CSEL is used to select between master and slave mode (grounded=master, open=slave). So if I use an adaptor I should be able to put a CF card and another IDE device on the same bus. In theory. But knowing that True IDE isn't well tested, ...
