Hi Someone asked me to help him with AT91RM9200 and AT91RM9200-EK kit. I have gnu toolchain with gcc "3.4.3". I plan that we will run programs directly on that processor - without any kind of operating systems (linux or winCE). I'm looking for project samples for this board. Are there in the internet available any project free samples? I need informations about memory addressing - whe...

Hi, Im working on building a dev board based on the AT91rm9200. I have based this design on the AT91rm9200-DK for reference. Im trying to add a keyboard to this board, but this has been hampered by the non-availability of the chip thats used to convert the PS/2 data to serial or SPI on the AT91rm9200-DK, the UR6HCPS2-SP40. Does anyone know any alternative to this particular chip? If yes,...

Hi,Members! I am looking for source code that will allow an embedded device to look like an USB mass storage device when inserted into a host PC. The embedded device has an ARM core, the CPU in particular is an Atmel AT91RM9200, and will be using embedded Linux as its OS. Anyone give me some advices about how can i modify the example AT91RM9200-BasicUSB(CDC class) to Mass Storage Device cl...

We are designing a microcomputer based on the Atmel AT91RM9200 controller. We are gong to give it 128Mb of SDRAM, 4M X 32. I am trying to decide whether to use 2 x 4M x 16 or 1 x 4M x 32. The reference design uses 16 bit wide memories, which appear to be slightly cheaper than the equivalent 32 with perhaps more manufactureres. What do people feel, what are the advantages of each, easier layo...

Just beginning a new design here, built on the AT91RM9200. I am searching for RoHS-compliant components that will be available now and hopefully well into the future. First up is a enet PHY. AMD says that they have successfully tested these PHY chips: Intel LXT971A, Davicom DM9161E, AMD Am79C874. However, the chip that seems to be most readily available (and low power) is the National DP...

Ok So Im to the point I dont know what to try next. Im trying to bring my custom AT91RM9200 board to life. I have 16MB of SDRAM on CS0 (starting at 0x20000000 ending at 0x21000000) and 2MB of data flash at 0xC0000000. First step was getting uBoot running. Which for some reason if I stick uBoot (1.1.4) as resident and try and let it relocate itself it wont run, no serial output. So I stuck with t...

Hi everybody. I'm finishing my RM9200 board (32MB SDRAM, 2MB SPI NOR, Smart Media, RTL8201). Now I need to choose te audio interface. Hello, we are designing a microcomputer named "Comet" based on the Atmel AT91RM9200 controller. All design files and software will be licensed under the GPL. Currently the schematics is all what we have. We probably packed too much building blocks into the design. Before we cut down the design and start building the PCB it would be nice to hear what you think which optional building blo...
