I thought this was going to be simple. I have a controller, an LED, a resistor and a socket. Its a five volt circuit. I want to plug the LED into the socket in a board. The controller needs to know whether or not the LED is plugged in, and if the LED is plugged in, it needs to be able to turn it on and off. One issue is that the forward voltage of just about any LED puts all the voltages...

If only sereral LED lamps, they can use for a very long time.10,000 hours is no problem. And this is availability only in condition that the temperature of LED Lamp is about 20 =A1=E3C. When the LED Lamp install in the slim light box,the temperature it is impossible to be so low.Normally,it is up to 60 =A1=E3C.So ,it is serious affect hte life span of LED lamp. But here is a good news! We hav...

I'm currently searching the coder (firmware) who has experience with I2C bus. I am looking for firmware solutions for my prototype that will be used in manufacturing testing for I2C LED Modules. Each module contains six of TPIC2810 LED Driver chips with Address from 1100000X to 1100101X. All of 8 outputs for each LED Driver are loaded with LED. I need to use LED Display Module for di...

Happy Halloween! Last year I built a collection of plywood pumpkins to stick in the yard on Halloween night. I installed superbright LED's in the eyes, nose, mouth, etc and was pretty pleased with the results. This year I want to animate the LED's. I bought a DLP-245PL which uses a PIC18LF8720 to drive it's digital I/O. I need a simple transistor circuit to drive each LED. There's a...

Hi all, I am searching for a driver for 6-8 digits of 5x7 LED matrix displays. All I can find seems to be the 4-digit MAX6952/3 chips. I do not really need all the font functionality etc. As long as I can control each LED seperately, I'm OK. Another option would be a chip with only the drive t...
