Hi All , I am working with a 8 bit Atmega2560 uC, when operating at 16 Mhz clock the maximum frequency of PWM I can generate is ~31Khz at 8 bit resolution. Are there any external PWM generator ICs which I can use to generate higher frequency PWM signals? Also If I want to sin modulate the PWM with sin wave of 4khz then is 31khz (PWM Wave) enough? Any guideline would be appreciated a l...

Hello, I am using the basic USB example on WinARM from http://www.siwawi.arubi.uni-kl.de/avr_projects/arm_projects/index_at91.html#at91_usb1, namely the AT91SAM7 USB Example 1. Additionally, I am using PWM mapped to PA0 to PA2, 10kHz PWM, Period of 4800, Duty Cycles of 1200, 2400 and 3600. If I comment the PWM part and run only the USB, it runs just fine and the PC detects the AT9...

Hi, I want to implement a speed controller for a motor (PWM). My problem is that the motor needs 12V/10A which is too much for connecting it directly to a PIC pin output. Hi to all. I'm new to this processor so I may be doing something dumb here , but I cant get the PWM output to go over 50Khz. I am working in Codewarrior v5.5.1272. I have tried setting up the pwm using the "processor Bean" functions and doing the settings manually with the same results.The bean shows that I should be getting 5Mhz output , but I'm getting 50 KHz.
