Hi, I'm trying to replace the box that does most of my basic network services, here: DNS, BOOTP, DHCP, Font server, NTP, TFTP, etc. All have reasonably light footprints (I think!). But, all have been written (NetBSD) assuming gobs of memory available! As the little box I am repurposing has a fixed (small) amount of RAM, I am nervous about building a "noswap" kernel -- the idea of ...

Any opinions about FREE RTOS? I like a priority scheduling kernel for the product that I about to work on, but are there any significant issues or just annoying features? I am checking out the Free RTOS documentation and other resources. Just curious if anyone has experienced any undocumented issues with it. That's all. Ed

My project is to port uclinux on lpc2294. I've uClinux-dist-20070130 package downloaded from www.uclinux.org. My conclusion is that it does not need arm and lpc2294 patching as it includes necessary folders in its file tree. So, I tried to do "make menuconfig" and build the kernel. But i got some errors. I'm not sure if i'm doing it right. Will someone guide me please??? Thanks in advance ...

Hi, I'm stuck with a nasty problem. I'm running an 4.4.13 based kernel with a busybox on an ARM-system but it seems to leak memory... during the working hours. I know it is not the best way to do but I've monitoring the MemFree value from /proc/meminfo and I'm losing 2M/hour. It's not that big but having 100M memory free makes it crash after two days. Or at least what I think makes it...

Hi all, I've looked through the threads about embedded Python that are a year and a half old, and I thought that I'd ask this question now to see if anything has changed. Has anyone, or is anyone working with Python in an embedded Linux environment?
