Hello all Im trying to get linux up and running on my system. I have 16MB of SDRAM at 0x20000000 and 2MB of dataflash. I've started with the at91rm9200dk files in the kernel as my start point, and I can get it to boot if and only if I disable my dCache. Im imaging there is a setting somewhere Im over looking that is still trying to map the caches with 32MB of ram (which the dk has) but I ha...

Hi, Could any one please advice some effective debugging tools for RTEMS? I want to watch kernel signals generated between parent and child processes, share memory data interchange between multi-threads. If there is no tools like that, is there any guideline for developing these tools? Thank you very much for your attention. Sam.

Hi, I'm trying to replace the box that does most of my basic network services, here: DNS, BOOTP, DHCP, Font server, NTP, TFTP, etc. All have reasonably light footprints (I think!). But, all have been written (NetBSD) assuming gobs of memory available! As the little box I am repurposing has a fixed (small) amount of RAM, I am nervous about building a "noswap" kernel -- the idea of ...

My project is to port uclinux on lpc2294. I've uClinux-dist-20070130 package downloaded from www.uclinux.org. My conclusion is that it does not need arm and lpc2294 patching as it includes necessary folders in its file tree. So, I tried to do "make menuconfig" and build the kernel. But i got some errors. I'm not sure if i'm doing it right. Will someone guide me please??? Thanks in advance ...

Hi, I'm stuck with a nasty problem. I'm running an 4.4.13 based kernel with a busybox on an ARM-system but it seems to leak memory... during the working hours. I know it is not the best way to do but I've monitoring the MemFree value from /proc/meminfo and I'm losing 2M/hour. It's not that big but having 100M memory free makes it crash after two days. Or at least what I think makes it...
